Your asking why do you need this product because you have insurance, well your insurance don’t cover all your plumbing related problems, the first thing excluded in the small print is any maintenance and poor workmanship related plumbing incidents for example, rusting galvanized pipes, poor workmanship on pipe work or installations of not compliant waterpipes if you have a burst, they also exclude all your sewer drains, bath traps and shower floor drains. So, no you are not fully covered on your plumbing incidents. And it’s important to note that most only cover an incident a meter by a meter if the next pipe burst is more than a meter away it’s a second claim and another excess you will have to pay.Your insurance will still cover your result and damage in most cases.
They will give you an hour call out and labour cover, this leaves you with the additional labour cost you will need to pay the plumber?
With our product you have no labour costs and only pay for the parts and material, so if your sewer drain fell in and needs to be repaired you only pay for the parts used. Any pipe burst you will also only pay for parts and material.

- Parts and material this includes sanitary ware taps, baths, and shower dividers
- New plumbing installations
- Bathroom renovations installing the pipes, fitting, and sanitary ware
- Result and damages – E.g., broken tiles when pipes need to be repaired of wall paint and repairs, ceiling damages
- Septic tanks
- Municipal water and sewer lines and water meters
- Boreholes and borehole pumps
- Non plumbing related issues e.g., electrical issues
- Warranty claims – Manufacturers like geysers under warranty
- Use of plumbers other than Plumb Buddy (Pty)Ltd or authorized Sub provider appointed by Plumb Buddy

- Take a photo of the problem and send us a message, one of our call assistants will replay to you and make a booking that suits you, and that is it, one of our vehicles will be dispatch to you to assist.
All call outs are subjected to a booking this is so that we can have accesses to the property, the bookings are prioritised, and repair work will be done asap, in cases where the work will stretch over a period of a day and more, then the booking for your repair will be scheduled to accommodate you. Please note that repair work is subjected to payment of the material prior.
All call outs are prioritised for same day assistance from where the repair work will be managed according to the scale of the work required as explained above.
